Common Air Space has been discussed…

After the bilateral discussion between General Director Dr. Ali ARIDURU and Civil Aviation authorities, a meeting was arranged with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Air Force Command and General Directorate of State Airports Authority related to use of Turkish Air Space.

General Director Dr. Ali ARIDURU mentioned about the situation of countries excluded from Common Europe Air Space ATM Research (SESAR) Program, which are member  of Eurocontrol but not a member of EU and mentioned the right of all countries to say something about future of Eurocontrol and that it is obligatory for Turkey to be included in this program.

After the meeting, in which duties and responsibilities with eurocontrol were discussed, Esenboğa Airport Air Traffic Units, Training Foundations, Terminal and SMART Establishments were visited and participants were informed about applications and projects.
