General Director of Eurocontrol, David McMILLAN congratulated General Director Dr. Ali ARIDURU for the approval of Turkey’s aircraft maintenance accreditation by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Turkey has got the right for maintenance accreditation on 22 January 2008 , which many of European countries still do not have, after the inspections and legislation works of EASA in 2007. After the start of new application on 22 January 2008, approximately $100 million that is spent for maintenace activities to establishements with Part 145 authorization in other countries, will be brought into Turkish economy
